1. Downloading the AMLHUB ID App

Please make sure your smartphone operating system is one of the following:

  • Android Version 10 or higher

  • Apple iOS 15 or higher

How do I check my operating system version?

  • For Android smartphones: go to Settings, About Phone, Software Information

  • For Apple smartphones: go to Settings, General, About

Downloading the app for Android

  1. Click on the Play Store icon.

  2. Type ‘AMLHUB RE’ in the Search bar at the top.

  3. Select the AMLHUB ID app.

  4. Click ‘Install’.

  5. Alternatively, scan the QR code below:

Downloading the app for Apple

  1. Click on the App Store icon.

  2. Search for ‘AMLHUB ID’

  3. The AMLHUB ID app will appear.

  4. Click ‘Get’.

2. Setting up a deal in the app or desktop platform

Set up a deal in the AMLHUB app:

  1. Sign in to the app.

  2. Press the ‘+’ button on the bottom right of the screen.

  3. Type in the property address and select the property from the list.

  4. If property is not listed, complete property address and press enter.

  5. Select the Property Type, Purpose, and mark if it is in a Trust or not.

  6. Click Create Deal.

Set up a deal in the desktop platform:

  1. Sign in to the desktop platform: https://app.amlhub.co.nz

  2. Click on ‘Deals’.

  3. Create a new Deal and type in the address of the property.

  4. AMLHUB will pull through any owners from the title.

  5. Add any further owners as required.

  6. Complete Nature and Purpose.

  7. Click ‘Create’.

3. While meeting your client

1. Open the AMLHUB ID app.

2. Select the property from the home screen (see above to add).

3. Click on an individual and scan their ID documents.

  • Driver license, or

  • Current passport
    Note: if driver license eCheck is unsuccessful you will be prompted for a secondary form of ID.

4. Select or provide current client residential address.

5. If address check is unsuccessful you will be prompted to scan a proof of address document.

6. if you need to add an individual, press ‘+’ .

When you have completed as much as you can, press the ‘Handover’ button.

4. Handover the deal

  1. Click the ‘Handover’ button.

  2. Complete the additional Nature & Purpose field.

  3. Highlight any complexities.

  4. Select main contact person.

  5. Handover.

REMEMBER: For security purposes, you should only take photographs of ID documents through the app (photos are automatically uploaded to the Cloud and then deleted from your phone). Do not take photos and store them on your phone.
