Initiating an AVID check in AMLHUB

Once AVID is configured, you can easily assign individuals for remote

biometric verification:

a. Select your individual

b. Select eChecks

Note: The AVID remote EIV biometric feature supports ID documents from the following countries if you have signed up. Individuals will need to have one of these documents in order to use the AVID remote EIV tool:

  • New Zealand: driver licence, passport

  • Australia: driver licence, passport

  • South Africa: national ID

  • India: national ID

c. Create a remote EIV check for the individual.

d. Double-check their information in the fields is correct, tick the consent box, and run the check.

Note: in order for your client to receive notifications, you must include:

  • name

  • email address

  • and/or mobile number with country code (e.g. +642123456789)

e. AMLHUB will send identity verification notifications via text and email.

f. View their progress in verifying their ID through the eCheck module and activity log.

Access the activity log via their individual record and see if they've opened the email, clicked on any verification options, and if they've completed their ID verification or not.

g. Once the EIV check is completed, it will be noted under the eCheck module and the activity record.
